Congratulations and latest news
Congratulations!!!!! We are so proud of Sydney!!!!! Sydney has been studying for several years for her Associate Teachers Certification. This is an exam that quizzes her execution of Highland dance as well as the theory and knowledge of basic positions, movements and knowledge of all the steps in the Fling, Swords, Seann Truibhas and Reels. Sydney did very well on her exam, and now we wait to hear her results from Scotland. So very proud of Sydney for this high accomplishment. Sydney will be helping out from time to time with classes, this will give her working experience for when she takes her full teachers exam in two years. And yes! that looks great on college applications to have already earned this certification!
Congratulations to Emma and Giselle! They recently went to a competition in Pennsylvania! It was the first time that they have competed when I was not there. Both dancers stayed focused and danced well! Giselle placed a 4th in her Pas de Basque dance, 5th in her Pas de Basques and High Cuts. Emma placed 1st in her Lilt, and in her Swords! And 2nd in her Fling and Seann Truibhas! and tied for the trophy!!!! Congratulations dancers! So very proud of you and your hard work!
